AERIS Paragliding ("AERIS", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is a template document — replace the details with your own legal text before going live.
1. What we collect
When you book, contact us or subscribe, we collect the details you provide: name, email, phone number, booking preferences and any notes you add (such as experience level). We also store your site preferences — theme choice, cookie consent and unfinished booking drafts — in your own browser's local storage. That data never leaves your device.
2. How we use it
- To confirm and operate your booking, including weather updates about your flight.
- To reply to messages you send through the contact form.
- To send the newsletter you explicitly subscribed to — every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. Ever.
3. Cookies
We use a single preference cookie to remember your cookie-consent choice and theme. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set by this site. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
4. Third-party services
Pages embed fonts from Google Fonts and a map from OpenStreetMap; both receive your IP address when the page loads, under their own privacy policies. If you connect a form backend (e.g. Formspree) via FORM_ENDPOINT, submissions are processed by that provider.
5. Retention
Booking records are kept for the period required by French accounting law, then deleted. Contact messages are deleted after 24 months. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@aeris.example. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
